Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.ungaventuras.com (the "Site") and the consulting services offered by Ungaventuras LLC ("Ungaventuras", "we", "us"), a New Mexico limited liability company with its address at 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. By using the Site or our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

Ungaventuras provides advisory and educational consulting on do-it-yourself projects, including electrical work, campervan conversions, renovation and construction, carpentry, camper plumbing and metalwork. Services are delivered mainly online (for example by video call, email or messaging) and consist of guidance, planning and review. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not perform, install, certify, inspect or sign off any physical work.

2. Proposals, fees and payment

The scope, format and price of each service are set out in the proposal or booking confirmation you accept. Fees are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise, and you are responsible for any bank or currency conversion charges.

3. Rescheduling and cancellations

You may reschedule or cancel a session free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed, may be charged in full. If we need to cancel, we will offer a new time or a full refund of the affected session. Refunds for multi-session packages are calculated on the sessions not yet delivered.

4. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete information about your project, your skills, your tools and your site conditions.
• Carry out all work yourself, or through people you choose, at your own risk and following safe working practices.
• Check and comply with the laws, building codes, permits, vehicle regulations and licensing requirements that apply where you live and where the work is done, including any requirement to use a licensed professional or obtain inspections.
• Stop work and seek on-site professional help whenever you are unsure, or when a situation may put people or property at risk.

5. Nature of the advice

Our advice is based on the information you provide and on what can be seen remotely. It is not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a licensed professional. Please read our Safety & Liability Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (texts, logo, graphics and design) belongs to Ungaventuras LLC or its licensors. Plans, material lists and documents prepared for you may be used for your own project; they may not be resold or published without our written consent.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ungaventuras LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss or damage arising from work carried out by you or third parties, from inaccurate information you provided, or from failure to follow applicable regulations or safety practices. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Ungaventuras LLC harmless from claims by third parties arising from work you carry out or from your breach of these Terms.

9. Use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to access it without authorization, or use it for any unlawful purpose. The Site is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you book a service applies to that service.
