Advice is given in good faith based on the descriptions, photos, videos and plans you share. Remote assessment has limits. Hidden defects, site conditions or information not shared may change what is appropriate.
3. Local laws, codes and licensing
Rules differ between countries, states and municipalities. In many places certain electrical, gas, structural or vehicle modifications must be performed or signed off by a licensed professional, require permits, or must be inspected. It is your responsibility to identify and comply with every requirement that applies to you. When we are aware that a task normally requires a licensed professional, we will tell you, but we cannot guarantee knowledge of every local rule.
4. Safety first
- Always isolate power and verify it is off with an appropriate tester before working on electrical systems.
- Use suitable personal protective equipment and tools in good condition.
- Never work on medium or high voltage installations unless you are qualified and authorized to do so.
- Stop immediately and seek on-site professional help if something is unclear or feels unsafe.
